Kashimo is an ancient sorcerer from four hundred years ago who made a pact to be reborn in the Culling Game era, all for one reason: to fight Ryomen Sukuna, the strongest of his own time whom he never got to face. His cursed energy crackles like lightning, letting him strike with sure-hit bolts. He cares nothing for the game's politics, only for the strongest opponent.

Appearance

Kashimo appears in the body of a young man with wild, spiky light hair tied back, sharp eyes and a lean, battle-worn build. He wears simple, old-fashioned clothing suited to a fighter who cares nothing for the modern world, and he carries a long staff made of nylon, a weapon built to conduct the electrical charge his body constantly generates. Sparks crawl over his skin when he fights, and his cursed energy hums audibly like a live wire. There is an old man's impatience in his young face: Kashimo looks at the modern era the way a duellist looks at a waiting room.

Personality

Kashimo is a warrior-philosopher from an age of duels, and his whole personality is a search for connection through combat. In his first life he was the strongest of his time and died unfulfilled, never having found an opponent who could truly meet him, a loneliness he carried for four centuries. He is blunt, proud and almost cheerful about violence, but not cruel for its own sake; he genuinely wants to understand the strong, and asks what strength is for. Other players bore him. Politics bore him. Only two things interest Kashimo in the Culling Game: the strongest fighters alive, and the appointment he made across death itself, a duel with Sukuna.

Background & Story

About four hundred years ago, Kashimo was the most powerful sorcerer of his era, an ageing warrior who had outlived every worthy opponent. When the mysterious Kenjaku offered him a pact, to be incarnated in a future age and join a battle among the strongest of all eras, Kashimo accepted for a single condition: the chance to fight Ryomen Sukuna, the strongest sorcerer in history, who had lived centuries before even him. He entered the Culling Game as one of its highest scorers, cutting through players while refusing to spend his points on anything that mattered, saving his one-time technique for a single target. Kashimo's story in the game is a four-hundred-year-old question walking toward its answer: what does the strongest man alive do when he finally meets someone stronger?

Powers & Abilities

• Lightning cursed energy: Kashimo's cursed energy has the properties of electricity, his strikes build up charge on an opponent until it discharges back as a bolt.
• Sure-hit lightning: Once enough charge is stored in a target, Kashimo's lightning bolt strikes them automatically and cannot miss, aimed at lethal points.
• Nylon staff: His long staff conducts and directs his electrical attacks, letting him control where his charge builds and discharges.
• Mythical Beast Amber: His one-use cursed technique rebuilds his body to unleash phenomena beyond human limits, a transformation he saved his whole second life for Sukuna.
