Satoru Gojo

About Satoru Gojo

Gojo is a teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High and one of the strongest sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen. He is famous for his blindfold, his playful and confident attitude, and his overwhelming power in a fight. Even though he jokes around a lot, he cares deeply about his students and wants to change the jujutsu world for the better.

Appearance

Gojo is very tall, over 190 cm, with a lean, athletic build and striking snow-white hair that stands up in spikes when he wears his black blindfold. Under the blindfold are his famous pale blue Six Eyes, which he also hides behind round sunglasses in his student days and casual moments. He usually wears the dark high-collared Tokyo Jujutsu High uniform, and moves with an easy, almost lazy confidence that makes him look relaxed even in the middle of a battlefield. His whole look is designed around contrast: covered eyes, bright hair, and a grin that rarely leaves his face.

Personality

Gojo is playful, cheeky and completely sure of himself, teasing students, colleagues and enemies alike. He treats deadly fights like games because, for him, they usually are. Under the jokes sits a serious reformer: he despises the old, rotten leadership of the jujutsu world and deliberately raises strong, independent students who can one day replace it. He can seem careless with other people's feelings, and his arrogance is real, but so is his protectiveness. When someone he cares about is threatened, the smile drops and the strongest sorcerer in the world stops playing around entirely.

Background & Story

Gojo was born into the Gojo clan, one of the three great sorcerer families, as the first person in about four hundred years to inherit both the Limitless technique and the Six Eyes. His birth alone shifted the balance of the jujutsu world, and a bounty was placed on his head while he was still a child. As a Tokyo Jujutsu High student he was already overwhelmingly strong, partnered with his best friend Suguru Geto on the most dangerous missions. That friendship ended in heartbreak, and it shaped the man he became: a teacher who shields his students from the system's cruelty, gathers allies the elders fear, and openly dreams of resetting the jujutsu world, not by force, but by raising a generation too strong and too united to be controlled the way his own was.

Powers & Abilities

• Limitless: His inherited technique manipulates space itself, letting him control distance, attraction and repulsion at an atomic level.
• Infinity: The neutral form of Limitless surrounds him with an untouchable barrier, attacks slow down and never quite reach him.
• Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue: An amplified pull of Limitless that creates a powerful vacuum, dragging everything nearby into a crushing point.
• Cursed Technique Reversal: Red: Limitless reversed into a violent repulsion that blasts targets away with explosive force.
• Hollow Technique: Purple: Blue and Red collide into an imaginary mass that erases everything in its path from existence.
• Six Eyes: His rare inherited eyes let him see cursed energy in extreme detail and run Limitless with almost no wasted energy.
• Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void: His domain floods an opponent's mind with endless information and sensation, leaving them unable to move or think.

Key Relationships

• Yuji Itadori: His student and Sukuna's vessel, Gojo saved Yuji from execution and took responsibility for training him.
• Megumi Fushiguro: A student Gojo took under his wing as a child; Gojo believes Megumi's hidden potential could one day rival his own.
• Nobara Kugisaki: His first-year student, whose bold countryside confidence Gojo cheerfully encourages.
• Suguru Geto: His classmate and closest friend in their student days, the one person who once stood beside him as an equal.
• Yuta Okkotsu: A special grade student Gojo personally recruited and trusts as one of the sorcerers who could surpass him.
