Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is MAPPA's 23-episode second season, aired from July to December 2023. Its first five episodes flash back to Gojo and Geto's student days in the Hidden Inventory arc; the remaining 18 cover the Shibuya Incident, where Gojo is sealed and Tokyo's sorcerers face their worst night.
About Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2
Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen opens in 2006 with the Hidden Inventory arc: Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto are carefree second-year students, the strongest duo at Tokyo Jujutsu High, ordered to escort a schoolgirl, Riko Amanai, to her fate as the Star Plasma Vessel. The mission's brutal end, and the assassin Toji Fushiguro, splits the friends' paths forever: Gojo awakens as the strongest, while Geto begins his fall toward the villain of Jujutsu Kaisen 0. The season then returns to the present for the Shibuya Incident, the manga's most famous arc: on Halloween night, 31 October 2018, a curtain traps thousands in Shibuya, Gojo is sealed away, and curses and curse users launch a coordinated attack that changes every surviving character. Running 23 episodes from July to December 2023, Season 2 pairs MAPPA's most ambitious action with the story's emotional core, how the strongest sorcerer was made, and what the world looks like without him.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is a TV anime from 2023, first released in Summer 2023. It belongs to the Action and Supernatural genres and is listed as a completed series. The summary above is written by the AnimeYug team in our own words.

Story & Plot
In 2006, Gojo and Geto are Jujutsu High's golden pair, cocky, inseparable and already stronger than almost anyone alive. Their mission sounds simple: protect Riko Amanai, a bright, ordinary girl chosen to merge with Master Tengen, from the cults who want her dead. But a bounty brings the Sorcerer Killer, Toji Fushiguro, a man with no cursed energy at all, into their path. What happens on that mission awakens Gojo's true power and plants the doubt that will consume Geto: why should sorcerers die protecting a world that fears them?
Twelve years later, on Halloween 2018, the bill comes due. A curtain seals Shibuya with thousands of civilians inside, all demanding one thing: bring Satoru Gojo. It is a trap built by the fake Geto and the disaster curses, and when Gojo is sealed inside the Prison Realm, every sorcerer in Tokyo must fight through one endless night of ambushes, domain battles and losses. The Shibuya Incident is where Jujutsu Kaisen stops being a school story and becomes a war.
