Background & Story
Hancock was born on Amazon Lily, the island of the Kuja warrior women. At twelve she was kidnapped with her two sisters and sold to the Celestial Dragons, who force-fed them Devil Fruits and branded them as slaves. Four years later the fish-man Fisher Tiger freed the slaves of the holy land, and the sisters escaped home, hiding their brands and building the legend of the 'Gorgon sisters' to cover the truth. Hancock rose to Empress and Warlord, her beauty a shield for her people, until Luffy landed on her island, saw her brand, and protected her secret without being asked.
