Evileye

About Evileye

Evileye is the masked magic caster of Blue Roses, an adamantite adventurer team, small in stature and over 250 years old in secret. Cold and blunt with almost everyone, she melts embarrassingly around the adventurer Momon, never guessing who he really is. Her long hidden past ties her to the region's oldest legends.

Appearance

Evileye is a very small figure in a hooded robe and a distinctive red-eyed mask that hides her face completely, with a young girl's build that makes adventurers underestimate her on sight. Her voice, filtered through the mask, is flat and blunt. Almost nobody in the kingdom knows what she actually is, the mask hides a vampire's face and two and a half centuries of history.

Personality

Evileye is cold, blunt and sparing with words, with one embarrassing exception. Around the adventurer Momon she melts into a flustered admirer, a transformation her teammates find hilarious and she finds mortifying. The comedy sits on a long, serious past: Evileye is Landfall, one of the legendary Thirteen Heroes who fought the Demon Gods 200 years ago, and a vampire who has outlived everyone who knew her name. Her crush is the first foolish, human thing she has allowed herself in decades.

Background & Story

Evileye was born Keeno Fasris Invern over 250 years ago in a kingdom destroyed by a dragon's undead catastrophe, which turned her into a vampire. As Landfall she later joined the Thirteen Heroes, the legendary party that defeated the Demon Gods, and after their age passed she took the name Evileye and joined Blue Roses, the Re-Estize Kingdom's adamantite-ranked adventurer team. There, an undead-hating vampire hides in plain sight as a masked mage, until Nazarick's staged war brings the 'hero Momon' into her life, and her heart, at exactly the wrong time.

Powers & Abilities

• Vampire magic caster: Evileye wields high-tier magic including crystal and earth spells such as Crystal Lance, honed over 250 years.
• Undead traits: As a vampire she does not age and possesses strength and senses far beyond her size.
• Thirteen Heroes experience: Her legendary adventuring past makes her one of the most experienced combatants in the kingdom.

Key Relationships

• Ainz Ooal Gown: As Momon, he is her idol and crush, she has no idea the hero she admires is the undead king her instincts should fear.
• Narberal Gamma: As Nabe, Momon's partner, Evileye's jealousy of her is matched only by Narberal's contempt for Evileye.
