Story & Plot

In a world where about 80% of people are born with a superpower called a Quirk, Izuku Midoriya, 'Deku', was born with nothing. He still dreams of becoming a hero like his idol, the number one hero All Might. After Deku risks his life to save his childhood bully Bakugo, All Might chooses him to inherit his own Quirk: One For All.

At U.A. High School, the top hero school in Japan, Deku trains alongside gifted classmates while villains gather in the shadows under the League of Villains. Every lesson, exam and rescue pushes him closer to becoming the world's greatest hero, and towards a final confrontation over what a hero really is.

Deku's road is never his alone. Bakugo's pride, Todoroki's family scars, Uraraka's determination and Iida's sense of duty all grow alongside his, while All Might's fading power forces a whole society to ask who will stand as its symbol of peace next. The villains, too, are given real reasons for what they became, which makes the final clash between the two sides hurt all the more.
