About Chiquitita
Chiquitita is a tiny alien child, son of the Dover Demon, who arrived on Earth after his father's crash landing. He speaks in cheerful chirps, loves his papa fiercely and helps the group more than once with alien technology and local knowledge of the hot-spring town. Small, brave and adorable, Chiquitita proves Dandadan's aliens are not all invaders, some are family.
Appearance
Chiquitita is a tiny alien child with a round head, big eyes and a small shrimp-like body, usually seen close to his father or riding along with the group. He speaks in cheerful chirps and squeaks rather than words. Everything about his scale is comedic, he is small enough to be carried, but his expressions are earnest: this is a brave little kid who takes his papa's safety as seriously as any hero takes a mission.
Personality
Chiquitita is cheerful, brave and devoted to his father. He chirps encouragement, volunteers for tasks far above his size and treats the Ayase family's chaos as home. His innocence is genuine, but so is his competence: he is an alien child who understands his people's technology better than the teenagers do.
Background & Story
Chiquitita is the son of the alien known as the Dover Demon, who came to Earth working a dangerous job to pay for his sick child's medical treatment. After his father's crash landing and the battles that followed, Chiquitita ended up in the care of the Ayase household's strange extended family. Far from a mascot, he helps the group more than once, with alien technology, with local knowledge of the hot-spring town near Jiji's house, and with a child's simple courage.
