Dr. Stone is TMS Entertainment's science-adventure anime, adapted from Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi's manga: 94 episodes across four seasons (2019–2026) plus the Ryusui special, and the TV story is complete. After a mysterious light petrifies humanity for 3,700 years, science genius Senku Ishigami wakes up and rebuilds civilisation invention by invention. It is funny, heartfelt and genuinely educational. Real science, told as an adventure.
About Dr. Stone
A mysterious light turns every human on Earth to stone. Thousands of years later, science-obsessed Senku Ishigami breaks free and sets an impossible goal: revive everyone and rebuild civilisation from scratch, one invention at a time. Dr. Stone turns real science into adventure (soap, glass, electricity and antibiotics become boss battles) with a huge heart and a tonne of energy. Ten billion percent exhilarating. Animated by TMS Entertainment from the manga by Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi, the series ran from 2019 to 2026 across four seasons and 94 episodes, adapting the complete manga story. Senku's method is always the same and always thrilling: identify the problem, remember the science, and build the impossible with whatever the stone world provides, stone tools, iron, gunpowder, telephones, ships, and eventually a rocket aimed at the mystery itself. Around him gathers the Kingdom of Science: Taiju's endless stamina, Chrome's reinvented discoveries, Gen's silver tongue, Kohaku's strength and the whole village of Ishigami. It is a rare adventure that makes knowledge itself the superpower, celebrating curiosity, teamwork and the 3,700 years of human progress Senku is determined to win back.
Dr. Stone is a TV anime from 2019, first released in Summer 2019. It belongs to the Sci-Fi and Adventure and Comedy genres and is listed as a completed series. The summary above is written by the AnimeYug team in our own words.

Story & Plot
One ordinary day, a blinding light sweeps the planet and every human being turns to stone. Civilisation ends. 3,700 years later, high-school science genius Senku Ishigami cracks free of his stone shell into a world of forests and ruins, and immediately sets to work. With revival fluid he wakes his friend Taiju, and together they begin the impossible project of restoring humanity, one invention at a time: fire, tools, soap, glass, medicine. But the strongest man alive, Tsukasa Shishio, is also revived, and he wants a new world without the old one's corrupt adults, even if that means smashing statues and killing the science that could save everyone.
The war between the Kingdom of Science and Tsukasa's empire is only the first step. To learn why humanity was petrified, Senku's people must cross oceans: building a ship, sailing to the Americas and beyond, reviving scientists and soldiers as they go, and chasing the signal of the mysterious Whyman. Every season raises the stakes of the same beautiful idea, that science is humanity's shared memory, and that a boy with a laboratory can out-build despair, empire and time itself, ten billion percent.
