Mereoleona is a Crimson Lion royal and the most ferocious fighter in the Clover Kingdom, a fire mage who trains by living among volcanoes and wild beasts. She respects only strength and effort, dragging nobles and commoners alike through brutal training that makes them better. When she enters a battle, even captains step aside: her burning mana zone overwhelms whole battlefields alone.

Appearance

Mereoleona is a powerful woman with long, wild vermilion hair like a lion's mane, sharp blue eyes and a diamond-shaped mark on her forehead. She wears a battle-ready version of noble dress under the Crimson Lion robe, and she is almost never indoors if she can help it, her natural habitat is a volcanic training ground or a battlefield. Her Fire Magic wreathes her fists in lion-paw shapes of flame, and in her Mana Zone the air around her becomes an extension of her body, every spark hers to command.

Personality

Mereoleona is a force of nature wearing a noble name: loud, direct, physically affectionate in the way of grabbing people by the head, and completely uninterested in rank, romance or court politics. She judges everyone by one measure: did you fight with everything you have? She applies it to herself hardest of all, spending most of every year training alone in dangerous wild lands. She is not cruel, but she is merciless about weakness of will, dragging juniors through hell-training because she genuinely believes everyone she torments can survive it stronger. Her little brothers fear and adore her in equal parts, and the captains she teases feel much the same way.

Background & Story

Mereoleona was born the eldest child of House Vermillion, sister to Fuegoleon and Leopold, and was expected to shine at court. Instead she vanished into the kingdom's strong-magic regions, spending some three hundred days a year living wild and fighting beasts and bandits, building strength no academy teaches. She refused the Crimson Lion captaincy for years, paperwork and ceremony bored her, and accepted it only when her brother Fuegoleon was left in a coma by the Eye of the Midnight Sun, leading the squad through the war in his place. Her philosophy, delivered at full volume to a generation of young knights, is simple: strength is for using, and survival is the only etiquette that matters.
