Cologne

About Cologne

Cologne is Shampoo's great-grandmother, an elder of the Chinese Amazons who has mastered techniques over a life spanning more than a century. Perched on her walking staff, she observes the young people's romantic wars with amused detachment, intervening with ancient pressure-point techniques and cryptic advice when it suits her plans. She wants Ranma in the family, and is patient enough to simply wait for it to happen.

Appearance

Cologne is a tiny, ancient woman with white hair in two buns, who perches and hops on a tall walking staff rather than walking. Her wrinkled face usually wears a sly, knowing smile.

Personality

Cologne is patient, cunning and entertained by almost everything. She wants Ranma married into her family and is happy to wait, teach or scheme toward that end. Of everyone in Nerima she may be the wisest, and the least in a hurry.
