Story & Plot

The Shadow Worlds are pocket dimensions that swallow pieces of the real world, and the worst of them, the Shadow Labyrinth, destroyed humanity in Desir Herrman's first life. One of only six survivors who reached its end, Desir was thrown back thirteen years instead of dying, into his entrance day at Hebrion Academy, with every memory of the losing war intact. Written off as a commoner with weak magic, he used tactics no student should know to gather the friends who died in his future, and to make them strong enough to survive it this time.

Season 2 begins in the calm after Desir's party cleared their first Shadow World together. The peace does not last: Desir dreams of Romantica's death, and the face in the dream belongs to a destroyer he remembers all too well. The academy's tournament season, the schemes of the Magic Tower and the growing boldness of the Outers all pull his young party toward the future he is trying to rewrite. Desir's magic was never the strongest. His second chance is.
