Methode

About Methode

Methode is a first-class mage whom Frieren's party meets during their travels across the Northern Plateau. Bright, friendly and disarmingly direct, she is fascinated by Frieren and wastes no chance to study the legendary elf up close, preferably by hugging her. Beneath the cheerfulness is a genuinely elite mage, one of the few humans whose skill Serie's association certifies at the highest rank.

Appearance

Methode is a bright-eyed young woman with a friendly, open manner and a tidy, professional appearance befitting an association mage. She radiates cheerful curiosity, the kind of person who leans in when she talks to you. With Frieren, that curiosity becomes gleefully physical: Methode adores small, cute things and studies the legendary elf at hug distance, to Frieren's visible alarm.

Personality

Methode is warm, direct and disarmingly honest about what fascinates her. She says what she wants, usually a hug from Frieren, and pursues it with an elite mage's determination. Beneath the cheer she is a professional who works the dangerous northern roads without complaint, and her openness makes her a rare person Frieren's party can relax around.

Background & Story

Methode earned the rank of first-class mage from the Continental Magic Association, placing her among the strongest human mages alive. Frieren's party encounters her during their travels across the Northern Plateau, where she works alongside Genau on association business in demon-threatened country. Her friendliness is genuine, and so is her skill, Serie's association does not hand its highest rank to anyone who cannot survive the north.
