About Gilda
Gilda is a quiet, observant girl who notices everything the adults would rather hide. Brought into the escape plan alongside Don, she becomes Emma's steady right hand, calm under pressure, kind to the little ones and braver than she believes. In the world beyond the wall, Gilda helps hold the escaped family together through its hardest journeys.
Appearance
Gilda is a slender girl with shoulder-length dark green-tinted hair, round glasses and a gentle, worried expression. She wears the white Grace Field uniform and usually stands a little behind the louder children, watching.
Personality
Gilda is soft-spoken, anxious and far braver than she believes. She notices moods and details others miss, worries honestly, and then does the frightening thing anyway. The younger children trust her completely, and her steadiness balances Don's fire.
