Tsukuyomi

About Tsukuyomi

Tsukuyomi is a mysterious young girl who seems to know that Aqua and Ruby lived past lives, something almost no one alive should know. She appears at key moments with cryptic warnings, watching the twins like a crow watches a battlefield. Who she is, and how she knows their secret, remains one of Oshi no Ko's deepest mysteries.

Appearance

Tsukuyomi appears as a small, pale young girl with long dark hair and an unnervingly calm expression, often accompanied by crows. She dresses simply and speaks like someone much older than she looks, appearing and vanishing without explanation. Everything about her presentation, the stillness, the birds, the knowing smile, feels deliberately symbolic, as if she wants to be understood as an omen rather than a person.

Personality

Tsukuyomi is cryptic, composed and quietly amused by everyone she meets. She answers questions with better questions, offers warnings instead of help and seems entirely untroubled by the confusion she causes. Whether she is kind, cruel or simply curious is impossible to tell, which appears to be exactly how she likes it.

Background & Story

Tsukuyomi appears at key moments in the twins' lives with cryptic warnings and unsettling knowledge: she seems to know that Aqua and Ruby lived past lives, a secret almost no one alive should be able to guess. She watches the Hoshino family the way a crow watches a battlefield, patiently, from above, intervening only in riddles. Who she is, what she wants and how she knows what she knows remain among Oshi no Ko's deepest open mysteries.

Key Relationships

• Aqua Hoshino: One of the twins she watches and warns, to his deep suspicion.
• Ruby Hoshino: The other twin whose fate Tsukuyomi seems to follow with particular interest.
