Nora is a stray shinki who has served many masters, including Yato, and carries the names they gave her like chains. She drifts between gods with a child's smile and empty eyes, doing whatever her current master, and a mysterious 'Father' figure, asks of her. Nora knows Yato's darkest secrets and keeps pulling him back toward the killer he used to be.

Appearance

Nora looks like a young girl with long dark hair and pale skin, in a white kimono, with the names given to her by different gods inscribed on her skin. Her smile is sweet and her eyes are empty in a way that unsettles gods and spirits alike.

Personality

Nora is soft-spoken, obedient and eerily detached, a weapon that has been passed between masters so long that being used is her whole idea of love. She clings to Yato as her favourite master and cannot understand why he refuses the killer's life they once shared.

Background & Story

Nora is a Nora, a stray, a shinki with many names and masters, shunned by gods because a stray's loyalty belongs to no one. In Yato's past as a god of calamity she was his partner, named Hiiro by him, and she still appears to offer her services and remind him of what he was. Working also for a mysterious 'Father', she moves through the present story as its quietest threat: not hatred, but nostalgia for murder, wearing a child's face.
