Senju Kawaragi
From Tokyo Revengers
Senju Kawaragi is the leader of Brahman in Tokyo Revengers, one of the Three Titans of Tokyo's gang war and one of its strongest fighters, famous under the name Senju Akashi. She is voiced by Mariya Ise in Japanese.
About Senju Kawaragi
Senju Kawaragi is the leader of Brahman, one of the three great gangs of the Three Titans era and one of its strongest fighters. Petite and fearless, famous under the name Senju Akashi, she leads a gang built from the First Generation Black Dragon's legends. Her hidden connection to the Sano family makes her far more than just Takemichi's way into the war.
Appearance
Senju is petite and fine-boned, with wavy light hair cut in a bob and sharp green eyes, small enough that strangers regularly mistake the leader of Brahman for a harmless schoolkid, right up until she moves. She wears Brahman's oversized hooded uniform like a cloak, and there is a coiled, athletic readiness to her even when she is laughing and eating sweets.
Personality
Senju is bright, direct and completely fearless. She treats gang war with a sportswoman's appetite and judges people by their strength and honesty rather than their reputation. Under the cheer is a girl carrying her family's fractures: the Akashi siblings were split by old wounds, and Senju's brightness is partly a refusal to become her brothers' darkness. She takes responsibility for her people with a seriousness her playful manner hides.
Background & Story
Senju Kawaragi, born Senju Akashi, leads Brahman, the gang built from the legends of the First Generation Black Dragon, in the era when Tokyo's delinquent world is split between three great powers: Brahman, Rokuhara Tandai and the Kanto Manji Gang. Recruited young for her extraordinary fighting talent, she became the first female boss of a major gang in the story, 'Senju the Unrivaled'. She is the younger sister of Takeomi Akashi, Brahman's second-in-command, and of Haruchiyo Sanzu of the Kanto Manji Gang, which makes the Three Titans war, for her family, a war against itself. Her connection to the Sano family reaches back to childhood, tying Brahman's young leader to Mikey's story long before Takemichi enters the war.
