Alicia

About Alicia

Alicia is a young girl with no memories who became part of Kimihiko and Nagisa's lives during one of their strangest cases. Sweet, curious and completely defenceless on her own, she depends on the group for protection while the truth about who she really is slowly comes to light. Her story is one of Season 1's most emotional threads, and it is closely tied to the secrets SPES keeps about its artificial humans.

Appearance

Alicia is a small, young girl with a soft, innocent look, light hair, wide eyes and clothes that make her seem even younger than she is. She carries herself like a child lost in a crowd, because that is essentially what she is: a girl with no memories, out of place everywhere she goes.

Personality

Alicia is sweet, curious and trusting, attaching herself to Kimihiko and Nagisa with the wholeheartedness of a child who has nothing else. Her innocence is genuine but strange, gaps in what she knows and does hint that her story is stranger than simple amnesia, and her case becomes one of the most emotional threads of the group's work together.

Background & Story

Alicia appeared in Kimihiko and Nagisa's lives with no memories of who she was or where she came from. Unable to protect herself, she was taken in by the group, who cared for her while working the case that had brought her to them. Her story is closely tied to the secrets SPES keeps about its artificial humans, and to the question of what a person is when everything they were has been taken away.

Key Relationships

• Kimihiko Kimizuka: The detective who takes her in and protects her while her case, and her identity, are investigated.
• Nagisa Natsunagi: The partner who becomes an older-sister figure to Alicia during her time with the group.
