Spring 2016 Anime

In a world where most people are born with superpowers called Quirks, Izuku Midoriya is born with none. After meeting his hero All Might, he gets his chance to train at U.A. High School and become a real hero. It is an inspiring school-and-superhero adventure. The My Hero Academia anime is produced by studio Bones and adapted from Kohei Horikoshi's manga. What makes it stand out is its heart: Deku cries, doubts himself and keeps going anyway, and the enormous cast (classmates, teachers and villains alike) all get their moments to shine. Across its seasons the series grows up with its characters, from cheerful school tournaments to an all-out war for the future of hero society. It is one of the defining superhero anime of the modern era.

Subaru Natsuki is suddenly sent to a fantasy world, where he discovers he returns to a fixed point in time whenever he dies. He uses this painful power again and again to protect Emilia and his new friends. It is a gripping isekai story about courage, love and never giving up. Subaru has no strength, no magic talent and no special weapon, only the memories of timelines nobody else remembers, bought with deaths nobody else sees. That makes Re:Zero one of the darkest and most emotional isekai series: every victory is earned through failed loops, and Subaru's mind bends under the weight of them. Around him, the royal selection for Lugunica's throne, the Witch Cult and the sins they serve keep raising the stakes. Animated by White Fox, the anime now spans four seasons (85 episodes) and two OVA films, with Season 4 finishing in September 2026.
